Vendor: Expands Measurement Capabilities of Handheld Spectrum Analyzers
Anritsu 'E' Series Spectrum Masters Now Conduct RF Quality, Modulation Quality, and Downlink Coverage Quality
Morgan Hill CA, USA -- Anritsu Company has announced it has expanded the test capability of its MS2712E and MS2713E Spectrum Master handheld spectrum analyzers to include signal analyzer capabilities. With the new 10 MHz bandwidth demodulation option, the MS2712E/MS2713E can test and verify the RF quality, modulation quality, and downlink coverage quality for all the major wireless standards, including LTE, WiMAX, WCDMA/HSDPA, TD-SCDMA/HSDPA, CDMA, and GSM/GPRS/EDGE.
The new option allows a full suite of RF, demodulation, and Over-the-Air (OTA) measurements to be made efficiently and accurately with the MS2712E/MS2713E.
Users can conduct these critical tests to improve the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) associated with call drop rates, call block rates, and call denial rates.
With the Spectrum Master, field technicians can troubleshoot down to the Field Replacement Unit (FRU) in a base station's transmitter chain.
The result is fewer costly no trouble faults (NTF) associated with card swapping, and lower inventory of replacement parts.
Extremely easy to use, the Spectrum Master provides Pass/Fail limit testing. Additionally, the option allow for a full measurement summary of results in a display.
Designed for Use with Handheld Analyzers
Covering the 100 kHz to 6 GHz frequency, the MS2712E/MS26713E handheld spectrum analyzers deliver superior interference analysis capabilities and the ability to assess signal quality across a broad range of increasingly complex RF signals.
They can locate difficult-to-detect interfering signals – including both intermittent and continuous ones – resulting from the proliferation of wireless systems and an ever-crowding RF spectrum.
The instruments have dynamic range of >95 dB, DANL of -152 dBm, and phase noise of -100 dBc/Hz max @ 10 kHz offset at 1 GHz.
