New Products : Accelerating Workflow in Sample Storage Labs

With the ever-growing requirement for higher sample throughput in many laboratories the new Auto Decapper system enables significant productivity gains to be made in the opening of multiple sample storage tubes.Easy to install and operate the Auto Decapper automatically removes and disposes of the caps from a full 96-tube rack in less than 10 seconds. Operation is safe and user friendly - simply place a rack of capped tubes onto the access tray, push the start button and the Auto Decapper will in one action gently remove all the caps. Applications : High Temperature POINT LEVEL CONTROL FOR DRY SOLIDS
Lincoln, NE USA -- The BinMaster SHT-Series are piezoelectric driven vibration-type level control instruments that detects the minimum and maximum level of powder and bulk solids in bins, silos and hoppers. The SHT-Series has been built specifically for higher process temperatures up to 500?F (250?C). The instrument can be used for overfill protection and for high or low level alarms. back.SIMPLE, DEPENDABLE OPERATION
The signal from the electronic circuit of the SHT-Series excites the single rod of the instrument to vibrate on its resonance frequency of approximately 460Hz. When material covers the active rod, the vibration stops. This is sensed by the electronic circuitry which forces its output relay to switch. When the rod becomes uncovered, the vibration will restart and the relay will switch
NOT AFFECTED BY MATERIAL CHARACTERISTICS
The SHT-Series Vibrating Rod principle overcomes difficulties associated with changes in dielectric constant, humidity, temperature, and material density. The single rod design eliminates the problem of false signaling due to material wedging and build-up associated with ?tuning fork? type probes.
APPLICATIONS
Works in applications with a minimum bulk densities of 1.25 lb./cu. ft. and granular size of 1 1/2?. A completely new developed piezo system allows the use of the SHT-series in applications with high process temperatures up to 500?F (250?C).
