New Products : ISO 15693 Smart RFID Label tag for Paper Material Item Tracking
Guangzhou / Guangzhou, China -- DAILY RFID has newly launched ISO 15693 Smart HF RFID label-11 designed for items that are made of paper with uses like material tracking, document tracking, library book management, parcel tracking and so forth. The special paper housing and 3M glue adhesive on its back makes this RFID label easy to adhere to other paper material items, yet hard to fall.
Compared with other ISO 14443 labels, these smart labels have some advantages and benefits which others do not have.
They can be detected within a range of up to 90 cm distance from the reader. Memory capacity is available in 1K/4K to record information of the tracking items such as titles, types, authors, specific remarks and other records.

Meetings : Fluidigm & BD Biosciences to Co-Host Single-Cell Seminars
'A Powerful Technique for Single-Cell Analysis'

San Francisco CA, USA -- Fluidigm Corporation has announced a collaboration with BD Biosciences, a segment of BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company), to co-host a public seminar series on the isolation and analysis of single cells. Entitled 'A Powerful Technique for Single-Cell Analysis', the public seminar series will showcase cell isolation using the BD FACSAria™ III Cell Sorter and analysis using the Fluidigm BioMark™ HD System.
The combination of the cell surface phenotype obtained from cell sorting and the gene expression profiles of individual cells isolated from a heterogeneous population of cells provides a deeper view into cellular systems.
"We believe this emerging field of single-cell genomics research will help elucidate the underlying biomolecular processes across many diverse biomedical research areas," said Gajus Worthington, Fluidigm president and chief executive officer.
"Numerous publications in the last two years have shown that the BioMark System enables important observations of single-cell behavior in a number of biologically relevant fields, including stem cell research, cancer research, immunology and developmental biology," Worthington added.

Farringdon, UK -- Mantracourt’s T24 digital telemetry system has been chosen by Technip Umbilical Systems (DUCO Ltd), a company that manufactures a range of bespoke 'umbilical systems' for offshore applications. DUCO umbilicals form the critical link between a subsea production arrangement and a remote facility providing control, power, and communications and chemical services. Applications include production control, chemical injection, subsea pumping and processing, gas lift and underground gas storage among others.
Using the T24 telemetry measurement technology, DUCO perform steel tube fatigue tests and remotely monitor strain throughout. This testing is essential as umbilical structures can undergo dynamic stresses throughout service life, which can impact on lifespan and performance.
Accurate fatigue data is therefore essential.

With New Update to Moore Industries’ NCS NET Concentrator System
NORTH HILLS CA, USA — The updated NET Concentrator System® (NCS) from Moore Industries provides users with increased options for communications. With the addition of the new EMM Interface Module, the process control and distributed I/O network now comes standard with an Ethernet (MODBUS/TCP) port and dual, independent MODBUS RTU (RS-485) ports.
One or both of the MODBUS RTU ports can be configured as MODBUS master ports, allowing the NCS to poll other MODBUS RTU slaves with the network polling functions of a typical MODBUS master.
Previously, the NCS could only act as a MODBUS slave. The update allows the NCS to be used as either a single or dual MODBUS master, allowing it to provide simultaneous Ethernet and dual MODBUS RTU master/slave communications.
