New Products : Compact HD Zoom Lens Offers Ultra Close Focus...
Chesham, UK -- Resolve Optics Ltd has released a pre-launch technical specification sheet describing its new Model 330 - a compact motorised High Definition (HD) Zoom lens like no other zoom lens currently available. Providing users with HD resolution throughout its range of operation - the Model 330 is half the size (87.5mm long and 45mm square) and much lighter (< 500g) than other comparable zoom lenses.
The high performance f/1.8, 10x tracking zoom on the Model 330 ensures the image stays in focus throughout the zoom travel by utilising floating cell technology.
The Model 330 is also able to focus upon objects up to just 450mm from the lens. A novel design camera mount cleverly incorporates topside and back focus adjustment so that the lens can quickly and easily be set-up on any camera.

New Products : National Instruments Expands the NI Wireless Sensor Network Platform
New WSN Gateway & Measurement Node Extend Communication & Measurement Capabilities
AUSTIN TX, USA -- /PRNewswire/ -- National Instruments has announced two new products that extend the communication and measurement capabilities of the NI wireless sensor network (WSN) platform. The new NI 9792 is a programmable WSN gateway that can communicate with NI WSN measurement nodes as well as other hardware through a variety of open communication standards.
The gateway combines an NI LabVIEW Real-Time controller and an integrated WSN radio so that LabVIEW Real-Time applications can run locally on the gateway to aggregate data from NI WSN devices, making the NI 9792 ideal for embedded, wireless data-logging applications.
Additionally, the new NI WSN-3226 voltage/resistance temperature detector (RTD) combination node extends the measurement capabilities of the NI WSN platform to include support for resistance-based measurements such as RTDs and potentiometers and provides engineers & scientists the ability to combine voltage & temperature measurements on a single NI WSN device.

ZMDI LED driver ICs boost lumen-per-watt efficiency while keeping bill of material lowZMDI’s ZLED7020 and ZLED7030 feature dimming over a 1200:1 range and can drive LEDs with up to 1.2 amps of current from a power supply as high as 40 Volts.
The ZLED7030, specifically, offers a 2/3-step dimming switch with three configurable options eliminating the need for an external dimmer control.

New Sensor With High-Res Analog Output & User Adjustments
St. Paul MN, USA -- The CPA100 Capacitive Sensor from Lion Precision has a setpoint (switched) output to indicate presence/absence like a typical proximity switch, but the nonlinear analog output is capable of resolutions as low as 15 nm RMS (150 nm p-p).The new sensor features a unique front panel range indicator to alert the operator to out-of-range conditions, DIN rail mount electronics, and user adjustments for Offset (Zero) and Gain. A selection of probes provides standard measurement ranges from 0.05 to 6 mm.
Offset and Gain can also be controlled with remote potentiometers if the device is enclosed in a control panel. Sync connectors allow interference-free use of multiple sensors with the same target.
Typical applications for the CPA100, besides basic position monitoring, include production line part sorting; double sheet detection in printers or related processes; and monitoring of processes involving nonconductive materials such as films, fabrics, and applied coatings such as adhesives.

It is specifically designed and manufactured for CATV engineers and technicians to facilitate installation and testing of CATV systems. It measures CATV TILT, C/N and trunk cable voltage and has auto-off time setup, channel plan selection, channel amending, channel sorting and channel editing functions.
